Tracy Blessing: I have a lady that works for me, and she is a professed Christian but has been in a struggle (wrestling match) with God about different difficulties in her life. I know God placed our paths together for the purpose of encouragement and prayer support. We had a conversation several weeks back about, "I want to do what's right, I pray with a willing heart and mind, but 5 minutes after prayer I am back to my old self again. How do you overcome this?" The short reply is I encouraged her to review what she is putting into her mind, Phillipians 4:8 whatsoever is lovely..pure..good report..virtue..praise...think on these things. She started listening to Christian music again. Apparently some time back I gave her a copy of your Beloved CD. Her favorite at this time in her life is "Searchin."

I have been trying to do it all on my own without praying and asking God for his help. I needed to be refreshed, restored and renewed! And boy was I!!!! Heritage Message: A friend told me a few weeks ago not to plan anything for Dec. 3. She had a surprise for me. As you know it is getting closer to Christmas and getting very busy, and today I was so tired. I just grumbled and fussed (to myself) and kept trying to think of a way I could let her down easy. She hadn't told me what this surprise was. I even called her husband to see if he would back me up with understanding on his part and maybe talk with her for me. But to my surprise he told me she had bought these tickets to "whatever" and she was looking forward to it and to taking me, I needed to go. "Well!! " I thought when I hung up the phone. I suppose God wants me there for a reason. I mustered up the stamina to make myself go. On the way I looked at her and asked her "Have you ever sat down to eat and you have no idea what it is you are going to eat before you put it in your mouth?" Her answer was "yes". I told her that was the way I felt about tonight. She then explained that it was a group of ladies who sing. and that my Granny Eva Mae had sung with them, & she had played the song several months ago for me. Asked me if I remembered that. I told her I did and felt good about what we were going to hear. I had NO idea how good you ladies really are! You are great! Not only do you harmonize beautifully, but you are good entertainers as well. Seeing you and hearing you ....warmed my soul. My prayer was answered. I had asked God if I had to do this that I get a little enjoyment out of it. You made me laugh, and cry. You sang a song for the grandmothers. I was moved by what you said about your grandmothers before singing, then when you started to sing, well I was touched. Then all of a sudden I heard my Granny's voice singing "Amazing Grace". I looked around to see if she had been there all along and I had missed her. Of course she wasn't there. She had recorded the song with you, and it was on tape. It was such a Blessing to hear you ..... Then to hear her voice with you made my night. Thank you. May God Bless you as you travel and sing of His Love.

Kim B. Message: I just want to drop you a note to say, the retreat last weekend was such a blessing, it was awesome. We look forward to coming next year. We have a women’s Bible study and meet each Monday night at my house. I am a melancholy and we have decided that I am bossy, for as much as I hate to accept it, they told me I was in a good way though. We have decided to call it Shepparding, so I won’t feel so bad. But the cool thing was figuring out what our children are. It was fun to do with them. We loved the (Oprah) give a ways, which is such a great treat. We loved our give a way from Southern Living so much, that we decided to stop at Michael’s on the way home to find just the right flowers to put in them. We figured we needed to get them put together while we were together, because home life would get in the way of us actually doing the little project. We then came back to my house and made them up. As I dropped of each lady to there house we put our flowers on our doors. They all looked great, it will be a daily reminder of all of the fun we have had together. I just wanted you to know the impact that the weekend made on us and how much it was truly appreciated and needed. Keep doing what you’re doing.
